Mr. William Thomas (Bill) Shaw 80 of LaFayette, Alabama passed away Sunday November 15, 2015 at East Alabama Medical Center after a battle with cancer. Visitation will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church in Lanett, Alabama at 9AM (ET) on Firday November 20, 2015 with a memorial service following at 9:30AM (ET) Father Bruce Krause will officiate at the service. Mr. Shaw was born in LaGrange, Georgia on January 7, 1935 to the late Alvin Dewey Shaw and the late Nellie Davis Shaw.  He was a US Army veteran, he was retired from West Point Foundry and was an active partner in Shaw Brothers in LaFayette.

Mr. Shaw is survived by 2 sons-John (Sonya King) Shaw of Kinsotn, Al., Michael (Claire Collette) Shaw of Roswell, Ga., 5 sisters-Elizabeth Owens of Opelika, Al., Hilda Lolley of Tallassee, Al., Lucy Kelley of Thomasville, Ga., Diane Waldrop of Five Points, Al., Faye (Jimmy) Huckaby of Griffin, Ga. 2 brothers-Woody (Linda) Shaw of Milltown, Al., John L. (Jeanine) Shaw of LaFayette, Al., 4 grandchildren-Erin (T. J. ) Tuls of Clinton, Wisconsin, Alex, Samantha and Tommy Shaw of Roswell, Ga., sister in law-Betty Butts Shaw of Valley, Al., and numerous special nieces and nephews.  Mr. Shaw was prededed in death by brothers James Dewey Shaw and Robert Alvin Shaw.  The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers donations be made to EAMC Foundation.
