Virgil Meigs 56 of LaFayette died Monday January 12, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Chambers County June 25, 1958 and was a farmer and truck driver, and graduated from Chambers Academy in 1977. A memorial service will be held at the Penton Church Of God on Friday January 16, 2015 at 2PM with Rev. Mike Campbell officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 5PM until 7PM.  He is survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews.  Was preceded in death by his mother Lynda Pinnix.
