Mrs. Shirley Ann Adkins Weldon 84, of LaFayette, Alabama died Saturday May 23, 2020 at the East Alabama Medical Center.

Mrs. Weldon was born in Chambers County, Alabama December 22, 1935 to the late William Edwin Adkins and the late Ursa Still Adkins, she was a member of the LaFayette Heights Baptist Church, and had worked at Playtex and later for Russell Corp. retiring in 1997, she enjoyed the widow's ministry, flea markets, sewing, cooking and loved flowers.

Graveside services will be held Thursday May 28, 2020 at 11AM at the LaFayette City Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Howard officiating.

She is survived by her Sister Barbara Smith of LaFayette, Al., Brother Terry (Wynonia) Adkins of Camp Hill, Al., Sister In Law Shirley Adkins of Southport, Fl., and a number of Nieces & Nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband Calvin Weldon, Brothers Wayne Adkins of Southport, Fl., Tracy Adkins of Valley, Al., and Randy Adkins of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
