Mrs. Sara Jean Warren 79 of Auburn, Alabama died Saturday October 29, 2016 at her residence. Surrounded by her family, she entered into the Kingdom of our Almighty God. Funeral services were held at 12 Noon Monday October 31, 2016 At the First Baptist Church in LaFayette, Alabama with burial in Prattville Memorial Gardens in Prattville, Alabama with the Rev.Jake Hall officiating. She was born on June 13, 1937 in Matthews, Alabama, to Jacob and Sara Elizabeth Spivey. She cherished her childhood surrounded by older brother Glenn Spivey, Younger Sister "Sissy", Brenda Hall and Minnie Merle Callicutt. She grew up in Columbus, Georgia and graduated from Jordon High School. It was in Columbus that she met and married the love of her life, Joel D. Warren. Sara Jean or Jean as her friends knew her, was the biological mother to Joel Michael Warren (Mike), Gregory Scott Warren (Gregg) and Teresa Jean Warren Williams but she was "Mother" to many. She was "Maw-Maw" to seven grandchildren: Mitch Williams, Austin Williams, Erin Williams, Anslee Warren Law (Justin), Michael Warren, Chandler Warren and Layton Warren.  Her life was an encouragement to others. She had a heart to serve other people; always searching for opportunities to be a blessing, not only to her immediate family, but also to others in her community and workplace. She was always overflowing with loving compassion. It was impossible to be in her presence and not smile. Her life was a walking sermon. She certainly lived what she believed, and for that, she will always be remembered as one who made a difference in the world.
