Mrs. Rosa Lee Baty 85, of Valley, Alabama died Thursday February 13, 2020 at her residence.

Mrs. Baty was born in Randolph County, Alabama November 8, 1934 to the late Sam Wood and the late Mae Ragsdale Wood, she was a member of the Faith Evangelistic Church in Valley, where she taught Sunday School and helped wherever she was needed at the church and was a homemaker.

Funeral services were held Saturday February 15, 2020 at 2PM (ET) at the Faith Evangelistic Church with the Rev. Tony Hagan and Mrs. Joann Stribblin officiating burial followed in the Shawmut Cemetery.

Visitation was held at the church from 12 Noon until 2PM (ET) prior to the service.

She is survived by her Son Joseph L. Baty, Sr., of LaFayette, Al. 2 Daughters Vertices (Bryan) Irvin of Beulah, Al., Anna Mae (Jackie) Fuller of Cusseta, Al., Son In Law John Cook of Valley, Al., 10 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren, and 6 Great Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband Joseph Harold (Ta-Ta) Baty, Daughter Glenda Cook, Daughter In Law Peggy Baty, and her Brothers.
