Mrs. Romona Barber 69, of Lanett, Alabama died Wednesday November 16, 2016 at the LaFayette Nursing Home. Graveside services will be held Friday November 18, 2016 at 1PM (CT) 2PM (ET) at the Rocky Mount Baptist Church Cemetery in Beulah, Alabama with the Rev. Nathanael Barber officiating.

Mrs. Barber was born in Langdale, Alabama February 17, 1947 to the late Robert Gresham and the late Lilian Lucille Ray Gresham.  Mrs. Barber retired as a clerk at the Chambers County Probate Office in LaFayette.

Survivors are her 5 children David Conway of Valley, Al., Greta (Scott) Wilson of Five Points, Al., Jack Barber, III of Lanett, Al., Rev. Nathanael (Andrea) Barber of Lanett, Al., Jonathan (April) Barber of Simpsonville, SC,  1 sister Martha J. Whitlow of LaFayette, Al.,  13 grandchildren,  5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Jean Johnson & brother Robert Gresham.
