Mr. Olin Brooks, 79 of LaFayette died Monday September 28, 2015 at the Wellstar Douglas Hospital in Douglasville, Georgia. A memorial service was held on Friday October 2, 2015 at the Five Points Baptist Church with family & friends officiating. Mr. Brooks was born in Milltown, Alabama June 21, 1936 and graduated from Milltown School. He entered the service and retired from the US Marines after 22 years of service to his country, also retired from Foster Care and building construction.

Survivors are his wife Judy Brooks of LaFayette, Al., 3 children Mike Brooks of Cusseta, Al., Chris Hatcher of Beulaville, NC, Shane Brooks of Michigan, brother Harold Brooks of Roanoke, Al., 2 grandchildren Branden Maready and Kassie Maready.
