Mrs. Mary White 85 Of Valley, Alabama died Thursday September 22, 2016 at the LaFayette Nursing Home. A private family graveside service will be held Saturday September 24, 2016 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Lanett, Alabama with the Rev. Paul Howard officiating. Mrs. White was born in Lee County, Alabama February 17, 1931 to the late Forest Ira Sharpe and the late Myrtle Johns Sharpe, she was a homemaker and a member of the Westside Baptist Church in Lanett, Alabama.

She is survived by her 3 daughters Shelia (James) Daniel of LaFayette, Al., Sherry (Lamar) Cotton of Lanett, Al., Donna (Darren) Kelly of West Point, Ga., 2 sisters-Betty Elliott of Columbus, Ga., Ruth Bragg of Phenix City, Al., 1 brother-LeLand Sharpe of Crawford, Al., 5 grandchildren 5 great grandchildren, She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jimmy White, grandson Kevin Kelly, and 3 sisters.
