Mary Lynn Nelson 62, of LaFayette, Alabama died Tuesday August 2, 2016 at the U.A.B. Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. Funeral services will be held Thursday August 4, 2016 at 3PM at the Pleasant Grove Christian Church with burial in the church cemetery with Rev. Ricky Cunningham and Rev. Jimmy Allen officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 1PM until 3PM prior to the service. Professional services provided by Jeff Jones Funeral Home of LaFayette, AL.

Mary Lynn was born in Roanoke, Alabama July 1, 1954 to the late Carlos Ulna Adcock and Mary Virginia Johnson Adcock. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Christian Church in Union Hill, Alabama, and had been employed at Russell Corp. in LaFayette and later managed the Penton Grill in Penton, Alabama.

She is survived by her mother Mary Adcock of Auburn, Al., 2 sons Zach (Taphne) Nelson of Camp Hill, Al., Coy Burton of LaFayette, Al., brother Jimmy (Nancy Corona) Adcock of Trussville, Al. 3 grandchildren Kenneth Allen Nelson, Skylar Michelle Nelson and William Ty Burton.

She was preceded in death by her father, son James Kyle Burton, brother Joe Tom Adcock, and brother Bobby Wayne Adcock.
