Mrs. Mary Emily Conway, 92 of LaFayette, Alabama died Thursday January 8,2015 at the Lake Martin Community Hospital in Dadeville, Alabama. Funeral services will be held Sunday January 11, 2015 at the Antioch Baptist Church in LaFayette at 11 AM with burial in the church cemetery, the Rev. Billy Clark, Rev. Wayne Barrett,and  Rev. Tim Fowler officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 4PM until 6:30PM. Mrs. Mary Emily Conway, 92 of LaFayette, Alabama died Thursday January 8,2015 at the Lake Martin Community Hospital in Dadeville, Alabama.  She was born in Camp Hill, Alabama April 15, 1922 to Horace Cook and Emma Murtis Slaughter Cook, she was one of the oldest members of the Antioch Baptist Church in LaFayette, and was retired from the US Postal Service working at the LaFayette Post Office.

Survivors are 5 children-Mary (Joe) Belser of Dadeville, Al., Carole Conway of Indiaatlantic Fl., Richard (Liz) Conway, Jr., of LaFayette, Al., Ann  (Joe) Wehby of Birmingham, Al., Arthur Conway of Toccoa, Ga., one brother-William (Billy) Cook of Dadeville, Al.,  17 grandchildren   27 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband David Richard Conway, Sr., brothers George Cook, Ben Cook, sisters Betty McCloskey, and Martha Williams.
