Mrs. Marjorie M. Smith of Murfreesboro, Tennessee passed away on January 31, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her parents William D. and LauRada S. Methvin. She is survived by her daughter Jennifer Methvin, sisters Leslie Sullins/Draper, Laura Brock and brother Wm. (Bill) Methvin, II sister in law Tina Methvin, brother in laws David Draper and Tony Brock.

Marjorie was a graduate of Escambia High School, Pensacola, Florida. Her career was in the publishing business working with Random House Publishing that spanned many years.

Marjorie's love for animals was in her ownership of Border Collies and Tennessee Walking Horses. Her life was further enriched by her membership in Dr. Charles Stanley's Christian Ministries.

Her family expresses special appreciation to Pat Doerter, Laura Joyner, the doctors, healthcare providers and many friends who gave her care and support during her illness.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Dr. Charles Stanley Ministries Atlanta, Georgia or to your local animal shelter.

Services will be private.
