Mrs. Margaret Mobley Laney 67, of Beauregard, Alabama died Thursday January 10, 2019 at her residence.

Mrs. Laney was born in Georgia March 7, 1951 to the late George Thomas Mobley and the late Lois Braswell Mobley she was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Clarksville, Alabama, and had worked at the Playtex Plant until it closed and later worked at the Russell Plant until it closed.

Funeral services were held Saturday January 12, 2019 at 2:30PM at the Jeff Jones Funeral Home in LaFayette with the Rev. Derek Farr officiating with burial at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

She is survived by her 2 Daughters Denise (Jeff) Lamb of LaFayette, Al., Angie (Mike) Scott of Beauregard, Al., Son Shannon (Michelle) Laney of Graham,Al., 3 Brothers James Mobley of Florida, Jerry Mobley of Standing Rock Al., Dennis Mobley of Roanoke, Al., Beloved service dog Gypsey, Grandchildren Taylor (Charles) Brackett of Roanoke, Al., Alex Laney of Wadley, Al., Davis Lamb of LaFayette, Al., Hank (Coty) Scott of Opelika, Al., Danielle Scott of Beauregard, Al., Bridgett Garrett of Graham, Al. Numerous Nieces & Nephews. Was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Wade Mobley.
