Mrs. Madeline Lashley 76, of LaFayette, Alabama died Wednesday August 9, 2017 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Saturday August 12, 2017 at 2PM at the Antioch Baptist Church in LaFayette with burial in the Church Cemetery with the Rev. Randall Hamer and the Rev. Ken Tankersley officiating. Mrs. Lashley was born in Chambers County, Alabama April 1, 1941 to the late Wilfred Poe and the late Rubye Singer Poe, she was a member of the Center Baptist Church and was retired from Tallapoosa River Electric after 35 years of service.

She is survived by 2 children-LeAnn (Alan) Hurd of Newnan, Ga., Robert Leon "Chip" Lashley, Jr. of LaFayette, Al., 1 sister -Debby (Crue) Gleaton of LaFayette, Al., 2 grandchildren-Kyle Lashley, Makaley Hurd.  She was preceded in death by her husband Leon Lashley.
