Mrs. Lola Smith 92, of Jackson's Gap, Alabama died Saturday November 19, 2016 at her residence. Graveside services will be held at 2PM Tuesday November 22, 2016 at the LaFayette City Cemetery.  No visitation will be held. Mrs. Smith was born in Chambers County, Alabama December 22, 1923 to the late John Emery Treadwell and the late Mary Tula Culpepper Treadwell, she was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church in LaFayette, and was a retired LPN having worked at the Chambers County Hospital for many years.

She is survived by her son Teddy (Linda) Smith of Jackson's Gap, Al., 4 grandchildren Tad (Donna) Smith of LaFayette, Al., Shannon (Daniel) Atkinson of LaGrange, Ga., Shan (Ashley) Smith of Auburn, Al., Chanel (Dustin) Latham of Jackson's Gap, Al., 7 great grandchildren 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Dewey Smith and her son Tommy Smith.
