Mrs. Liller Mae (Wootie) Lamb 98, of LaFayette, Alabama died Monday August 27, 2018 at the LaFayette Nursing Home.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday August 29, 2018 at 3PM at the LaFayette City Cemetery with the Rev. Tyler Worthey officiating.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 2PM until 3PM prior to the graveside service.

Wootie was born April 8, 1920 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to the late John Worthey and the late Nannie White Worthey, she was a member of the Sandy Ridge Methodist Church in LaFayette and retired from Avondale Mills also in LaFayette after 25 years of service.

She is survived by her Daughter-Janis (Richard) Lashley of LaFayette, Al., Son- Nick (Jackie) Lamb of Penton, Al., Grandchildren- Rick (Jaime) Lashley of Beauregard, Al., Chris Lashley of LaFayette, Al., Britton, Gracyn & Caelyn Lashley of Beauregard, Al., Aly (Keith) Goutremout of Glenfield, NY, Landon Lashley of LaFayette, Al. She was preceded in death by her husband Heflin Lamb, and Grandsons Nick Lamb. Jr., and Derek Lamb.
