Leroy Jones, 86 of LaFayette, passed away June 5, 2023 at EAMC. Mr. Jones was a member First Baptist Church of LaFayette where he served as a deacon, a trustee and sung in the choir. He enjoyed wood working in his spare time. He retired from EAMC after many years.

Mr. Jones is survived by his children: Jeff Jones, Susan (Jerry) Crowder, Brenda Harrelson; brother: Johnny Jones; sister-in-law Jean Jones; three grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife or 61 years Betty Jones; brothers: Charles and Bobby Jones.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm, Friday, June 9, 2023 at First Baptist Church of LaFayette with visitation beginning at noon prior to the service.

Burial will follow in LaFayette City Cemetery. Reverends Ken Overby and Michael Stiggers will be officiating.
