Mrs. Kathleen Sherman (Tookie) Langley passed away on January 21, 2021, at her home.

Tookie was born in LaFayette to the late Ken Sherman and the late Annie Mae Sherman. She was a member of the LaFayette First Baptist Church.

She lived in Colorado Springs where she was employed at Doenges Long as a bookkeeper, later she was employed at International Playtex as a receptionist and later employed at the Chambers County Probate Office where she retired as Chief Clerk of the Probate office.

She enjoyed playing dominoes with her sweet group of ladies at the LaFayette Library.

Tookie is survived by her 2 Sons Billy McKinley Langley (Carla) and Kim Thomas Langley. She is survived by 2 Grandchildren Kelly Poole (Pat), Heather McLeod (Casey) and 5 Great Grandchildren Landon, Kate & Kollins Poole and Maggie, and Macy McLeod.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Jack Thomas Langley, and her sister Jacqueline Harding.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, January 24, 2021, at 2PM at the LaFayette City Cemetery with the Rev. Scott Ferguson and the Rev. Kevin Calhoun officiating.
