Mrs. Juanita Thomas 89, of Daviston, Alabama died Saturday June 25, 2016 at her residence. Graveside services will be held at 12 noon Wednesday June 29, 2016 at the LaFayette City Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Hand officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 10AM until 12 noon prior to the graveside. Mrs. Thomas was born in West Virginia to the late Joe Smith and the late Littie Cook Smith, she was a homemaker, and a member of the LaFayette First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Forrest Thomas, and 9 brothers & sisters.

She is survived by her daughter Barbara (Douglas) Hall of Daviston, Al., brother James Smith of Webster Springs, W.Va., 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
