Mr. Joseph H. Green 95, of LaFayette, Alabama died Wednesday February 20, 2019 at the East Alabama Medical Center.

Mr. Green was born in Gay, Georgia February 2, 1924 to the late Lucien Green and the late Leila Green, he graduated from Auburn University and retired from the Chambers County School District after a 40 year career in education, he was a US Navy Veteran, a member of the First United Methodist Church in LaFayette, and loved to work in his garden, farming, fishing and traveling.

Graveside services will be held Saturday February 23, 2019 at 11AM at the Penton Church Of God Cemetery with Joyce Harralson officiating.

He is survived by his Daughter Patricia Ussery of LaFayette, Al. 2 Nieces Jeannie Lee George of Boca Raton, Fl. Melissa Page Crowe of Boca Raton, Fl. 1 Nephew Anthony Ben George of Marcoot, Al.

Was preceded in death by his Wife Elvira Green and a Sister Gwendolyn Yvetta Green George.
