Mr. Johnny Welch 73 of LaFayette, Alabama died Monday August 26, 2024 at the East Alabama Medical Center.

Johnny was born in Chambers County January 23, 1951 to the late Herman Welch and the late Teressa Slaughter Welch, he was retired from Adams Logging.

Graveside services will be held Thursday August 29, 2024 at 11AM at the Pleasant Grove Christian church cemetery with the Rev. Tim Whaley officiating,

He is survived by his son Stacey (Micki) Welch of McDonough, Ga., sister Gwen (David) Adams of LaFayette, Al, brother Joel Welch of LaFayette, Al, grandchildren Jesse & Courtney Welch, Emma (Welch) & John Galvan, Chloe Welch, Dinah Welch, Whitney Welch and great grandchild Liam Crew Welch.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Cheryl McWhorter, Cindy Abney, and brother Alec Welch,
