Mr. John (Johnny) Lamb 61 of LaFayette died Monday August 15, 2016 at his residence after a long illness. Funeral services will be held Thursday August 18, 2016 at 11 AM at the Community Baptist Church with burial in the Sandy Ridge Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Blain Turner, Rev. Trent Meigs and Rev. Jimmy Sprayberry officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 5PM until 7PM.

Johnny was born April 13, 1955 in Chambers County to the late Jack Dempsy Lamb and the late Frances Elizabeth Wooddy Lamb, he was a member of the Community Baptist Church and was a retired heavy equipment operator.

Survivors are his Wife of 42 years Patricia Thomas Lamb of LaFayette, Al., 4 Children Christina (Josh) Meigs of Daviston, Al., Joseph (Tammy) Lamb of Valley, Al., Brandy (Damion) Landry of Wetumpka, Al., Jonathan (Amber) Lamb of Arab, Al., 3 Sisters Barbara (Mike) Richardson of LaFayette, Al., Martha Kate Caldwell of LaFayette, Al., Mary (Eddie) Looser of LaFayette, Al., 1 Brother Tommy (Betty) Lamb of LaFayette, Al., and 8 Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a Brother Jackie Boy Lamb.
