Mr. Joe Brown 70, Of Penton, Alabama died Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at his residence.

Graveside services will be held Friday October 18, 2019 at 3PM at the Penton Church Of God Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Campbell officiating.

Visitation will be held at the Penton Church Of God on Friday from 2PM until 3PM prior to the graveside.

He was born in Clarksville, Alabama July 1, 1949 to the late Clarence Eugene Brown and the late Bernice Breed Brown, he was a member of the Penton Church Of God, and served as the song leader.

He retired from Uniroyal after 25 years of service and also drove a log truck for Chris Langley for 13 years, and was a member of the Mt. Hickory Hunting Club.

He is survived by 2 Daughters-Allison (Charles ) Burton of LaFayette, Al., Leslie Freeman of Penton, Al., 1 Brother Kenny (Melanie) Brown of LaFayette, Al., 7 Grandchildren 2 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Wife Becky Brown, Brother Jimmy Brown and Sister Eleanor Brown.
