Mrs. JoAnn Hunt 75, of LaFayette died Monday September 7, 2015 at the EAMC Lanier Hospital. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday September 10, 2015 at the LaFayette Heights Baptist Church with burial in the LaFayette City Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Howard officiating. She was born in Chambers County March 24, 1940 to the late James Homer Hurst and the late Sara Annie Lauderdale Hurst, she was a member of the LaFayette Heights Baptist Church, and retired from Master Brands in Auburn, Alabama.

Survivors are her 2 Children-Debbie (Paul) Miller of Jackson's Gap, Al., Mike Hunt of LaFayette, Al., 1 Sister-Peggy Blanton of Marcoot, Al., 3 Brothers-Pete Hurst of West Point, Ga., Ed (Marie) Hurst of LaFayette, Al., Larry (Cindy) Hurst of LaFayette, Al., 2 Grandchildren-Brian (Deanna) Miller and Brandi (Bobby) Lamberth and 7 Great Grandchildren.
