Jamie Andrews 29, of Opelika, Alabama died Saturday April 25, 2015 in Brewton, Alabama. Funeral services will be held on Thursday April 30, 2015 at 2PM (CT) at the Pleasant Grove Congregational Christian Church, 4472 Co. Rd. 53, LaFayette, Alabama with burial in the church cemetery, with the Rev. Ricky Cummings and the Rev. Milton Bethune officiating. Jamie was born in Lee County, Alabama October 7, 1985 to James Leonard Andrews, II and Angela Duffie Spates. He was a graduate of Chambers Academy in LaFayette and was employed with Charter Communications and was a member of the First Baptist Church in LaFayette.

Survivors are his wife Lacee Andrews of Opelika, Al., daughter Skylar Andrews of Opelika, Al., parents Angie (Steve) Spates of LaFayette, Al., James Andrews, II of LaFayette, Al., sister Brandi (Josh) McCoy of Opelika, Al., brother Zach Andrews of Lanett, Al., grandmothers Opal Duffie of LaFayette, Al., Jackie Spates of LaFayette, Al.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents Leonard & Ethel Andrews, Gene Duffie, and Foreman Spates.
