Mr. James Prestridge 83 of LaFayette, Alabama died Monday, September 17, 2018 at the LaFayette Nursing Home.

Graveside services will be held Friday, September 21, 2018 at 2PM at the Cusseta Cemetery in Cusseta, Alabama with the Rev. Steve Powell officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 11AM until 1PM prior to the graveside.

Mr. Prestridge was born in Randolph County, Alabama December 24, 1934 to the late Elmer Troy Prestridge and the late Georgia Brown Prestridge, he attended the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Camp Hill, Alabama, and was a retired construction worker, and served in the US Military.

He is survived by two children Connie Stewart of Camp Hill, Al., Elaine Jarman of Camp Hill, Al., one brother Robert Prestige of Florida, 3 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, several nieces & nephews.
