Mr. James E. Martin 80, of Lanett, Alabama died Thursday April 2, 2015 at the EAMC Lanier Hospital. Graveside services will be held Tuesday April 7, 2015 at 2PM (CT) at the Forresters Chapel Cemetery in Wadley, Alabama. Visitation will be held Monday April 6, 2015 from 5PM to 7PM (CT)  6PM to 8PM (ET) at the funeral home. Mr. Martin was born August 30, 1934 in Langdale, Alabama to the late James Barness Martin and the late Ada Adell White Martin, he was retired from the home building and cabinet making industry and was a US Army Veteran.

Survivors are his son David (Terry) Martin of Valley, Al., Sister Ruth Todd of Birmingham, Al., Grandchildren Lonnie (Nicole) Johnson, Marie (Michael) Allen, Charity (Allen) Ashworth, Ken (Nikki) Spratlin, Billy (Ashley) Walls, Great Grandchildren Jacie Johnson, Lexie McDonald, Ashton (Madison) Selman, Jonathon Selman, Hannah Walls. Great Great Grandchildren Chloe Selman, Kayla Ashworth, Max Spratlin.
