Mr. James Ray Bassett 72, of LaFayette, Alabama died Friday November 6, 2020 at his residence.

Mr. Bassett was born in Mobile, Alabama August 31, 1948 to the late James Vernon Bassett and the late Annie Jewell Crenshaw Bassett, he retired from the East Alabama Lumber Company in LaFayette.

Graveside services will be held Monday, November 9, 2020 at 2PM at the LaFayette City Cemetery.

He is survived by 3 Children James Keith Bassett of LaFayette, Al., David Denson (Penny) Bassett of LaFayette, Al., Lisa Marie Bassett of Texas, 2 Sisters Paula Bassett of Montgomery, Al., Becky Bassett of Maine, 1 Brother Rodney (Gloria) Bassett of Montgomery, Al., 5 Grandchildren 2 Great Grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his Wife Susan Marie Bassett and Son James Ray Bassett.
