Rev. Hugh Hawkins Owen, Jr. 86 a resident of EAMC Lanier Nursing Home and native of Jackson, Tennessee passed away January 20, 2021.

He is preceded in death by his Son Michael Owen.

He is survived by his Son Stephen Owen (Leigh) his Grandchildren Nic & Sally Owen, Trevor Owen and Hugh's former wife Pat Owen.

Rev. Owen was a minister in the Christian & Methodist church. He faithfully served churches in Kentucky, Indiana, & Alabama. He was an avid learner and graduated from Lambuth University, University of Southern Mississippi and Lexington Theological Seminary.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday January 27, 2021 at 10 AM at the Auburn Memorial Park Cemetery in Auburn, Alabama.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Lee County Humane Society in his honor.
