Mr. Huey Slay 89, of LaFayette, Alabama died Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at the Bethany House Hospice in Auburn, Alabama

Funeral services will be held Friday March 8, 2019 at 12 Noon at the New Hope Christian Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery with the Rev. Zenus Windsor officiating.

Visitation will be held Friday from 11AM until 12 Noon prior to the service.

Mr. Slay was born in Chambers County October 10, 1929 to the late Simmie James Slay and the late Mabel Moon Slay, he attended the New Hope Christian Church in Wadley, Alabama and also attended the Lebanon Presbyterian Church in Buffalo, Alabama, he was retired from the Tom Williams Buick Dealership in Birmingham, Alabama.

He is survived by his Wife Lois Shockley Slay of LaFayette, Al. 3 Children Bonnie (Bill) Leigh of Tuscaloosa, Al. Paul (Jane) Slay of Knoxville, Tn. Mark (Beth) Slay of Opelika, Al. 9 Grandchildren 3 Great Grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his Parents and 4 Brothers and 2 Sisters
