Mr. Gerald Allen, 80 of LaFayete, passed away June 19, 2023 at East Alabama Medical Center. Mr. Allen was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lullene Allen. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ledale E. Allen; children: Kira (Nick) Dodgen and Michael Allen all of LaFayette, AL. Grandchildren; BreAnna (Calvin) Thrash and Colton (Shayna) Hand; and siblings: Sylvia Edmondson of LaFayette, AL. and Jan Fisher of Canton, GA.

Funeral Services for Mr. Allen will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Pleasant Grove Congregational Christian Church.

A visitation will be held one hour before the services began. Burial will take place at the Pleasant Grove Congregational Christian Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Richard Lashley, Gene Williams, Danny Edmondson, Jason Edmondson, Curtis Adams, and George Atkins.
