Mr. George Allen 80 of Lanett, Alabama died Tuesday March 9, 2021 at the EAMC Lanier Nursing Home.

Mr. Allen was born in Chambers County, Alabama January 20, 1941 to the late Bowman Allen and the late Ada Ragsdale Allen, he was an active member of the Sunset Heights Baptist Church in Lanett, and was a retired textile employee he loved to hunt, fish, and Alabama Football, Nascar Racing and playing Dominos.

Graveside services will be held Saturday March 13, 2021 at 1:30PM (ET) 12:30 PM (CT) at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Lanett with the Rev. Steve Langley officiating.

The family will visit with friends from 12:30 PM (ET) until 1:30PM (ET) at the cemetery prior to the graveside service.

He is survived by 2 Children Chris (Pam) Allen of Lanett, Al., Tracy Taylor of Lanett, Al., 5 Grandchildren Eric (Christina) Allen, Jennifer Chavez, Cheryl (Hunter) Johnson, Kristopher Manley & Justin Manley, 5 Great Grandchildren and a special nephew David Hall, Jr.
