Mrs. Freddie Sims 93 of Union Hill, Alabama died Wednesday May 10, 2017 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Friday May 12, 2017 at 2 PM at the Pleasant Grove Christian Church with the Rev. Ricky Cummings officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Mrs. Sims was born in Jefferson County, Alabama January 16, 1924 to the late Fred C. Looser and the late Roberta Ellison Looser. She was the oldest member of Pleasant Grove Christian Church and she retired from West Point Pepperell as a weaver.

She is survived by 2 daughters-Bobbie (Hershell) Lashley of LaFayette, Al. Sue (Norman) Conyers of LaFayette, Al., 4 grandchildren-Carolyn (Ben) Cole, Lou (Ronnie) Duffie, Denise (Ed) Lamb, Chris Lashley. 5 great grandchildren-Rachel Lamb, Brittany Lamb, Joseph Lamb, Tabitha Duffie, Wyatt Lashley. 2 great great grandchildren-Krystal Lamb, Annabelle Callow.
