Mrs. Faye Aikens Blackmon 79 of Wadley, Alabama died Wednesday September 1, 2021 at her residence.

Mrs. Blackmon was born in Chambers County, Alabama May 14, 1942 to the late Hooper Aikens and the late Eunice Baldwin Aikens, she retired from Chambers County Home Health as a Registers Nurse and enjoyed sitting on her front porch watching the river go by.

Graveside services will be held Saturday September 4, 2021 at 9AM at the Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery.

She is survived by her Husband Tommy Blackmon, Daughter Jeannie Looser Hancock, 4 Sons Eddie (Mary) Looser, John (Becky) Looser, Tommy (Diane) Blackmon ,Walter (Laura) Blackmon, 2 Sisters Emma (Joe) Blanks, Ruth (Frankie) Davis, Brother Rev. Floyd (Floy) Aikens, 14 Grandchildren 7 Great Grandchildren 2 Great Great Grandchildren, Special caregivers Jennifer Benefield & Jasmine Buttrum.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Brothers Cleve Aikens, Frank Aikens, Dovard Aikens, Billy Aikens, Sisters Lonida Brooks & Lorene Milner.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Shiloh Baptist Church or Compassus Hospice Care of Roanoke, Alabama.
