Mrs. Ethel Adcock 79, of LaFayette died Tuesday October 20, 2015 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Saturday October 24, 2015 at the Community Baptist Church at 1PM with burial in the church cemetery with Rev. Blain Turner and Rev. Bill Bryan officiating. Visitation will be held at Community Baptist Church on Friday October 23, 2015 from 6PM until 8PM. Mrs. Adcock was born in Chambers County July 17, 1936 to the late James Homer Turner and the late Annie Beatrice Smith Turner, she was a member of the Community Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Survivors are her children-April (Mike) Petrey of LaFayette, Al., Susan (Joe) Hancock of Alabama, son in law-J.L. Baty of LaFayette, Al.,  Brothers-Pete (Cecil) Turner and George "Doodle " Turner, grandchildren-Danielle (Brad) Schwarz,Clay (Keashia) Hilyer, Rhonda (Tony) Hagan, Chris (Rene) Gregory, Jr. & Melody Baty, Matthew Hancock, Leigh & Josh, Austin & Virginia. great grandchildren-Alex ,Garrette, Josh,Lisa, & JoDee Schwarz, A J Pate, Tristan & Landon Hilyer, T J & Cody Hagan, Ashley Morris, Kaleb Jones, Makayla & Logan, Emily & Samantha, Kaitlynn & Landon, Zachary & Allie, great great grandchildren-Austyn Pate & Kolton Jones. Was preceded in death by her husband Willard Adcock and daughters Peggy Baty and Wanda Adcock.
