Mrs. Eloise Mims Clark 90, of LaFayette, Alabama died Sunday February 1, 2015 at the East Alabama Medical Center. A graveside service will be held 2PM Tuesday February 3, 2015 at the LaFayette City Cemetery with grandson in law Carlton Amason officiating. Mrs. Eloise Mims Clark 90, of LaFayette, Alabama died Sunday February 1, 2015 at the East Alabama Medical Center.  She was born in Talladega County, Alabama May 20, 1924 to George Mims & Aileen Cardwell Mims.

She graduated from LaFayette High School and graduated from Auburn University in 1981, and was a retired kindergarten teacher at Chambers Academy.

Survivors are her 4 children Ray (Brenda) Clark of Lineville, Al., Jane Crawford of LaFayette, Al., Kay (Hoyt) Sanders of Jackson's Gap, Al., Luann (David) Smith of Ashland, Al., 6 grandchildren Lynn (Carlton) Amason, Lawrence (Angela) Crawford, Ashley (Ryan) Hale, Matthew (Crystal) Sanders, Heather (Nicholas) Canalies, Michael (Stephanie) Tyson.  9 great grandchildren Zachary & Caleb Amason, Jacey, Cydney, Cade, & Lainey Crawford, Ava, Victoria, & Charlotte Hale.  She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband James R. (Bo) Clark, Sr.,  granddaughter Deborah Jane Crawford, son in law Larry Crawford, brother in law Willie B. Clark, sisters in law Helen Washburn, Marian Allen & Dorothy Rafield.
