Mrs. Edna Eugenia (Jean) Spence Nunn 79, Of LaFayette died Saturday January 3, 2015 at her residence. Funeral services will be held  Saturday January 10, 2015 at Lebanon Presbyterian Church at 2PM with burial in the church cemetery, the Rev. Shelly Nunn Martin and Dr. Don Nunn officiating.   Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 5PM until 7PM. Mrs. Edna Eugenia (Jean) Spence Nunn 79, Of LaFayette died Saturday January 3, 2015 at her residence.

She was born in Buffalo, Alabama September 11, 1935 to John Morgan Spence & Edna Earle McCarley Spence.  She graduated from Five Points High School in 1953, attended Berry College from 1953 until 1954, and graduated from Indiana University in 1995. She was  a member & elder of Lebanon Presbyterian Church in Buffalo, Alabama.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother John Morgan Spence, Jr., sister Mary Spence Hughs.  Survivors are her husband Dr. Ernest Wesley Nunn of LaFayette, Al., daughter Anne E. Nunn (Martin) Bredeck of Alexandria, Va., son Ronald W. (Kay Marten) Nunn of Washington, DC., 2 sisters Lena Spence of Sanford, Fl., Sara Spence Slagle of LaFayette, Al., brother Jimmy (Rethia) Spence of Dalton, Ga., 4 grandchildren Dylan, Alana, Priya, Julius.
