Mrs. Edith Ophelia Johnson 93 of LaFayette, Alabama died Sunday March 8, 2020 at the LaFayette Nursing Home.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Chambers County, Alabama March 30, 1926 to the late Henry Wilson Vickers and the late Annie Pearl Knight Vickers, she was a member of the Penton Church Of God and was a lifetime employee of Lanier/West Point Pepperell textile mill in Lanett, Alabama. She was a devoted Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Great Great Grandmother.

Graveside services will be held Saturday March 14, 2020 at 12:30 PM at the LaFayette City Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Allen officiating.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday from 11AM until 12 Noon prior to the service.

She is survived by her Son Bobby (Evelyn) Johnson of LaFayette,Al.,Sister, Margie Vickers Waldrep of Carrollton, Ga., 6 Grandchildren 10 Great Grandchildren 2 Great Great Grandchildrren and a host of Nieces & Nephews.

She preceded in death by her Parents, Husband Robert W. (Ebo) Jonson, Son Allen Dale Johnson, Granddaughter Rhonda Lee Johnson, and a Sister Mary Zelna Nix
