Mr. Don Laney, Sr. 83 of Lanett, Alabama died Wednesday September 1, 2021 at his residence.

Mr. Laney was born in Randolph County, Alabama March 16, 1938 to the late Robert Merrell Laney and the late Cloie Mae Bailey Laney, he was a member of the Lanett Church Of Christ, and was retired from DeZurik Valve Industry in LaGrange, Georgia after 25 years of service, and was known for his bee keeping.

Graveside services will be held Friday September 3, 2021 at 1PM (ET) at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Lanett with the Rev. Brad Terry and the Rev. Bill Jackson officiating.

He is survived by 4 Children Bobby Laney (Sandy), Donna Jackson (Bill), Wanda Moncus (Scott), Rhonda Terry (Brad), two sisters Shirley Nix, and Myra Looser. 16 Grandchildren Ryan Moncus (Misty), Brandon Moncus (Jayme Jerrell), Brooke Peters (Brad), Colby Terry (Amber), Courtney Arsenault (Talon), Chloe Bridges (Cole), Benjamin Jackson (Katy), Morgan Jackson ,Clint Jackson (Christa), Tiffany Currington, Autumn McCants, Gareth Laney (Chloe), Caleb Jackson, Ellie Anna Jackson, Allie Jackson, Isabelle Jackson, and 25 Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Wife Faye Laney, Son Donnie Laney, Brothers Herchal Laney, Billy Laney,and Great Grandson Dallas Moncus.
