Rev. Clifford DeLee 82 of LaFayette, Alabama died Sunday March 27, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Friday April 1, 2016 at 2PM at the Community Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery with Rev. Blain Turner and Rev. DeLee 's grandson Rev. Russell DeLee officiating. Visitation will be held at Community Baptist Church Thursday from 6PM until 8PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Chattahoochie Hospice. Rev. DeLee was born in Chambers County February 7, 1934 to the late Henry Cornelius DeLee and the late Maggie Worthy DeLee.  He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict, he was a member and Pastor of the Community Baptist Church for 54 years, he also served as a chaplain for the Alabama State Troopers and the Chambers County Sheriff 's Department.

He is survived by his wife Frances Hanners DeLee of LaFayette, Al., 2 sons-Rev. Donald (Patsy) DeLee of Alexander City, Al., Dennis (Dell) DeLee of LaFayette, Al., 1 sister-Helen Bridges of Dothan, Al., 3 grandchildren-Rev. Russell (Nicole) DeLee of Beauregard, Al., Natalie DeLee (Warren Phillips) of Dadeville, Al., Brittany DeLee (Sky) of Jacksons Gap, Al., 3 great grandchildren.
