Mr. Charles Myers, 85 of Lanett, Alabama died Tuesday June 23, 2015 at EAMC Lanier hospital in Valley Alabama. Funeral services will be held Thursday June 25, 2015 at the Providence Baptist Church at 2PM (ET)  1PM (CT) with burial int the Oakwood Cemetery in Lanett, Alabama with the Rev. Mark McGee and Rev. Brad Reed officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 7PM to 9 PM (ET)   6PM to 8PM (CT). Mr. Myers was born in Lee County, Alabama September 13, 1929 to the late Samuel Alton Myers and the late Annie Lee Harmon Myers.

He was a US Air Force Veteran, a Member of the Providence Baptist Church in Lanett, Alabama, a charter member of the Huguley Lion's Club for 50 years, and a 50 year member of the Valley Masonic Lodge. He owned and operated Myers One Stop in Huguley for 35 years.

Survivors are his wife Carolyn Myers of Lanett,  his son Charles "Al" (Dianne) Myers of Opelika, Al., sister Mary Parsons of Winston-Salem, NC.
