Mr. Charles (Joe) Lankford 81, of LaFayette, Alabama died Thursday May 28, 2020 at the LaFayette Nursing Home.

Joe was born in Chambers County May 21, 1939 to the late Charles and Irene Lankford, and had served on the LaFayette Police Department for several years.

A Celebration of his life will be held Tuesday June 2, 2020 at 11AM at the graveside at the LaFayette City Cemetery with the Rev. Blain Turner officiating.

He is survived by his special caregiver Joann Calloway and Family of LaFayette, Al.

He was preceded in death by his Parents and a Son Stevie Lankford.
