Cathy Jackson 63 of LaFayette, Alabama died Tuesday May 31, 2016 at the Golden Living Center in Lanett, Alabama. Graveside services will be held Saturday June 4, 2016 at 11AM (CT) 12 Noon (ET) at the Rock Springs Christian Church Cemetery in Roanoke, Alabama with the Rev. Darren White and the Rev. She was born in Roanoke, Alabama September 20, 1952 to the late John Wyatt Jackson, Jr., and the late Laura Vinson jackson. She was a member of the LaFayette Heights Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son John Phillip Herndon of Avondale Estates, Ga., brothers Tim Jackson of Wedowee, Al., Bo Jackson of LaFayette, Al., grandson John Phillip Herndon, Jr. of Avondale Estates, Ga., cousin Suzanne Chandler of LaGrange, Ga.
