Carolyn was born March 9, 1931 in LaFayette, Aabama ~ Died July 5, 2015 She was surrounded by family in her home in Winter Haven, Florida. (Memorial services were held Saturday July 11, 2015 at their most recent home church, South Lake Wales Church of God, located on the campus of Warner Southern University, 210 Presidents Dr, Lake Wales, FL 33859. A second Memorial service was held Saturday July 25, 2015 at Dayspring Church of God, 1060 Smiley Ave, Cincinnati, Ohio 45240. In lieu of flowers, from the friends in Florida & Ohio donations can be made payable to Royal Ministries Inc. P.O. Box 203 Alpharetta, GA 30009 for the benefit of the Carolyn Burchett Memorial Fund.  A headstone & marker will be placed in Lanett at Oakwood cemetery.)

A final Memorial service will be held in her home town in Lanett at Community Chapel Church of God, 708 South 8th Ave. Lanett, Alabama 36863 at 7:00 PM EST . C.C. Church Phone (334)-644-4194. Carolyn's final resting place will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Lanett, Alabama close to sunset, around 8:00 PM follow the Memorial service. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents Hugh and Lola Carmichael and her siblings Ralph and Harrell Carmichael. Carolyn is survived by her husband Dr. James C. Burchett, of 63 ½ years. Jim and Carolyn enjoyed 57 years in Christian Ministry, serving churches in Springfield Ohio, Concord North Carolina, Huntington West Virgina and for 20 years at Dayspring Church of God in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Carolyn attend Lanett Highschool. Jim and Carolyn met in college in 1950 at Anderson, Indiana. They started dating in Spring of 1951. Jim & Carolyn, married in Lanett Church of God, at her family church February 28th, 1952. Carolyn graduates with her teching Master's degree in 1955. Jim and Carolyn's 63 ½ marriage was blessed with 4 children, Cindy Dean, Michael, Darla Kent and Scott; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Carolyn was a woman of deep faith. She has grown in the providence of the Lord since she was 9 years old. She was a trusted friend, faithful wife, loving mother and honored teacher. Carolyn was the consummate Proverbs 31 woman and Pastor’s wife.
