On Monday, March 15, 2021, Carol Hurst Farr, loving wife and mother of three children, passed away at the age of 79. Carol was born on February 7, 1942 in LaFayette, Alabama. She graduated from LaFayette High School in 1959. Carol worked as a Cosmetologist in LaFayette for many years and later moved to lake Martin. She enjoyed teaching Sunday School, singing in the choir, and playing the piano at her church, Lake Martin Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending her time helping her family and friends. She was a caring, and devoted wife and mother who was always there to support and motivate her family.

Carol was preceded in death by her father Carlton Hurst and her mother Ruby Hurst. She is survived by her husband Danny Farr, her three children Ken Farr (Melissa) of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, Keith Farr (Tammy) of Roanoke, Alabama, Debbie Peters (Jimbo) of Lake Harding, Alabama, nine grandchildren Cody Farr, Lauren Farr, Eric Farr, Danyel Peters, Jamie Peters, Chase Farr, Chadie Farr, Bryce Nichols and Lathan Nichols, two great grandchildren Emerson Farr & Hallie Farr. She is also survived by one sister Sandra Waites.

Graveside services will be held Friday March 19, 2021 at 2PM at the Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in LaFayette 2408 Co Rd 62 LaFayette, Alabama 36862.

The family will greet family and friends on Friday from 1PM until 2PM at the cemetery prior to the graveside service.
