Mr. Billy Ray Mann 81, of Penton, Alabama died Wednesday May 3, 2019 at his residence.

He was born in Penton March 7, 1938 to the late Cletus Mann and the late Ethel Phillips Mann, he served in the National Guard, and was retired from the Lance Cracker Company, and a farmer, and was a member of the Penton Church of God.

Funeral services will be held Sunday May 5, 2019 at 3PM at the Penton Church Of God with burial to follow in the church cemetery with the Rev. Mike Campbell and The Rev. Ray Dunn officiating.

Visitation will be held at the church Sunday from 2PM until 3PM prior to the service. He is survived by his Wife of 61 years Geneva Mann, 2 Children Wygelia (Joe) Sims, Jeff Mann, 3 Sisters Nell Cates, Carol (Calvin, Jr.) Hinkle, Joan Lawson, 3 Grandchildren Jasmine Lambert, Julie (NB) Freeman, Joshua Mann, 5 Great Grandchildren Jacob Lambert, Kacey Lambert, Jonathon Freeman, Joseph Freeman, and Jesse Freeman.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, an Infant Brother, 3 other Brothers Jack Mann, Tom Mann, Karon Mann and a Sister Cathryne Gunn.
