Mr. Ben Thomas 68, of LaFayette died Tuesday March 24, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Chambers County November 28, 1946 to the late Willard Thomas & the late Ruth Nelson Thomas, he was a member of the First United Methodist Church Of LaFayette, and worked for East Alabama Lumber Company now Dudley Lumber Company in LaFayette for the past 44 years.

Survivors are his Wife Sarah Wingate Thomas of LaFayette, Al., 2 Sons-Matt (Katherine) Thomas of Opelika, Al., Brian Thomas of LaFayette, Al., 1 Sister- Laura Thomas (Larry) Hawkins of Prattville, Al., Brother- Robert (Janet) Thomas of LaFayette, Al., 5 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son Benji Thomas.
