Mrs. Barbara Bordeaux Powers 66 of McDonough, Georgia died Monday, July 26, 2021 at the Emory Midtown Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.

Mrs. Powers was born in Wichita Falls, Texas November 5, 1954 to the late Wiley M. Bordeaux and the late Lucille Royal Bordeaux, she was a retired school teacher having taught 30 years for the Henry County Board Of Education, and later she was the practicum coordinator for the Chamberlin School Of Nursing.

Grave side services will be held Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 2PM (CT) at the Oakbowery Community Cemetery in Oakbowery, Alabama with the Rev. Rosa Lindahl officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM prior to the graveside.

She is survived by her Husband John Powers of McDonough, Ga., Daughter Caroline Bordeaux Powers of McDonough, Ga., Twin Sister Brenda Roark of Conyeres, Ga., 2 Brothers George W. Bordeaux of Douglas, Ga., Steve Bordeaux of Ft. Collins, Colorado, Step Mother Sue W. Bordeaux of Douglas, Ga.
