Mrs. Aleta Lee 83, of LaFayette, Alabama died Sunday September 25, 2016 at her residence. Memorial services will be held at Jeff Jones Funeral Home at 2PM Wednesday September 28, 2016 with the Rev. Paul Howard officiating.

Mrs. Lee was born December 24, 1932 in Mecklenburg County North Carolina to the late Henry Egbert Cook and the late Bernice Lillian Hackett Cook, she was retired from Ampex.

She is survived by her 2 daughters Penny (Greg) Roth of Newnan, Ga., Valarie (Dennis) Pritchett off LaFayette, Al., 1 sister Zoe Purser of North Carolina, 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 2 great great granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Lee and a daughter Nora Middleton.
